Tactical Security Officer

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Security Officer! Ready to suit up as a Construction Security Officer? What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Site Location: Las Vegas, NV
• Schedule: Full-Time 12-Hour Shifts.
• Shift 1: 5pm-5am: Monday to Wednesday.
• Shift 2: 5pm-5am: Thursday/5am-5pm: Saturday & Sunday.

Responsibilities of Tactical Security Guard

• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You protect workers and visitors by providing critical access control.
• You have outstanding attention to detail, as you patrol the area, keeping area free of theft, damage, injury, or threats of harm.
• You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You are able to patrol the areas using the tools that can include car, golf cart, and feet.
• You have the stamina to work, sit, or stand throughout your shift, and can handle any weather conditions.
• You're good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• You have at least a high school education or equivalent (GED) in hand.
• You have at least 2 years of security experience, and at least 1 year of construction experience in a fast paced environment.
• You have a valid Driver's License.
• You have the ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• You have high work ethic.
• You have a valid PILB in hand.
• You are authorized to work in the U.S.
