Job Description

At Catapult, we are supporting our member, the NC Chamber, in their search for a Business Operations Analyst. This is a full time role in Raleigh, NC with at least the first six months requiring approximately 4.5 days/week onsite.

About the NC Chamber:

The NC Chamber is the leading business advocacy organization in North Carolina, working in the legislative, regulatory, and political arenas to proactively drive positive change, ensuring that North Carolina is one of the best places in the world to do business.

Summary:

The NC Chamber is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to serve as a strategic, data-driven partner across finance, marketing, and revenue operations. This role sits at the intersection of financial analysis, data management, and revenue operations - supporting management and board-level reporting, building and maintaining operational dashboards, and enabling our revenue teams with the data and insights they need to succeed.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, making sense of data, and understanding how systems and processes connect across an organization. Working closely with the SVP of Business Operations, you will support high-visibility initiatives, including Carolina HealthWorks reporting and data validating, while helping ensure marketing and revenue data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate, well-organized materials for board and executive presentations by gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing data from finance, marketing, and revenue operations.
  • Develop an understanding of end-to-end marketing and revenue processes to understand data issues, uncover opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions.
  • Translate raw data into clear narratives and visuals appropriate for a board-level audience.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards that provide leadership and revenue teams with timely visibility into key performance metrics and trends.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and support data-informed decision-making.
  • Establish and document repeatable reporting processes.
  • Assist with financial analysis and reporting as needed.
  • Partner with revenue teams to ensure they have accurate, timely data and reporting to support their goals.
  • Support the ongoing evolution of our marketing and CRM systems, including data hygiene, process documentation, and cross-team coordination as tools and workflows change.
  • Support the SVP of Business Operations with Carolina Healthworks reporting, including data validation and quality checks across systems.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability when learning new tools, systems, and processes, and apply strong problem-solving skills to address emerging challenges. Support cross-functional projects and process improvements initiatives across finance, marketing, and operations as business needs evolve.

Experience, Education & Skills:

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, data/business analysis, marketing operations, or a related field. Candidates with less experience may be considered if they can demonstrate strong capabilities and relevant experience in these areas.
  • Proficiency in Excel and a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and tools independently.
  • Working knowledge of marketing processes and marketing technology is required. Experience with HubSpot, ZoomInfo, or similar marketing/CRM platforms is preferred.
  • Experience building or maintaining dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Hubspot, Salesforce, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, integrity, and validation.
  • Ability to present data in a way that is meaningful and easy to understand for diverse audiences.
  • Proactive, and resourceful, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, take initiative, and solve problems effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, marketing, data analytics, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
